History

CO Services was founded to service and build long-term relationships with the Construction Industry. CO Services background includes residential, commercial, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineering and construction projects, performed by experienced engineers and contractors with over 35 years of engineering and construction experience.

 

Robert O. Covington, PE, NCEES, holds licenses in Florida, and Georgia.  He earned a BSME from the University of Mississippi in 1968 and has undertaken post-graduate studies in engineering at Tulane University, Louisiana State University at New Orleans, University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and South Florida University. Current affiliations include ASHRAE, NFPA, RESN, NSPE, and ASME. Mr. Covington is also Florida Certified General Contractor and Florida Certified Pollutant Storage Contractor. He has an extensive engineering background including experience in the space industry, manufacturing, construction, and consulting engineering. Publications include articles in Food Technology and Engineering , International Journal of Drying, and Solar Engineering.

Michael N. Covington, Project Manager earned a BS in Plant Physiology from the University of Florida in 1994 and a MS in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2003. Current affiliations include ACS and IUPAC. Mr. Covington has extensive experience in project management, commercial construction, fuel service installations, heavy equipment operations and mechanical/electrical engineering design. Mr. Covington also has extensive experience in the environmental consulting industry, working as a project manager on various jobs including Phase I & IIs, UST Removals and Spill Remediation, EA’s, Asbestos and LBP HAZMAT Surveys, Solid and Hazardous Waste Clean-up and NPDES Permits.

Michael Abbruzze, Project Manager earned a BS in economics from the University of Florida in 1996. Mr. Abbruzze has an extensive background in construction management, fuel service installations, heavy equipment operations and repair.
